No, planetarium tickets must be purchased in addition to general admission. Planetarium tickets can be added on site if tickets are available; however, please keep in mind that our planetarium is operating on reduced capacity and tickets sell out quickly.
We are currently not showing 3D films in the Joseph D. Williams 3D Science Theater. We look forward to bringing them back at a future time. Until then, we invite you to join us for a show in the Jennifer Chalsty Planetarium.
Guests arriving early for their reserved ticket time may not be allowed entry to our exhibition spaces until their ticketing time.

Guests arriving late for their reserved ticket time should check in at the Box Office upon arrival.
You are free to arrive in the parking lot or stay in the parking lot past the time window on your ticket (our prepaid parking system requires a timed ticket). Please know, however, you may not be allowed entry to our exhibition spaces until the time on your Liberty Science Center admission ticket.
There is no time restriction for how long guests can stay in the Science Center while we are open. However, if capacity is reached in any area, we may ask guests to move to a different experience for everyone's safety.
Discounted tickets can be verified on site at our Box Office only, on the day of your visit. Purchasing in advance is still highly encouraged, as discounts can be retroactively applied to pre-purchased tickets from our website.
Educators receive $10 off of their general admission when ID is shown on site at the Box Office on the day of visit. Active duty and veterans of the US Military receive free general admission for themselves when ID is shown on site at the Box Office on the day of visit.
Bank of America cardholders wishing to redeem the Museums on Us benefit can continue to redeem their complimentary general admission on site at the Box Office on the day of their visit with an active BoA credit/debit card and matching photo ID provided upon check-in. The admission is for the cardholder only. Any additional tickets beyond those obtained via this benefit can be purchased in advance.
Yes, members should reserve tickets online so that LSC can ensure we can manage the capacity of the building for everyone’s safety. When reserving tickets, members should log in using the email address they used to sign up for membership.
Members should reserve tickets online so Liberty Science Center can ensure that we manage the capacity of the building for everyone’s safety. Simply log in by using the email address you used to sign up for membership. Once logged in as a member, you will be able to reserve general admission tickets free of charge. Planetarium tickets and tickets for premium exhibitions will be charged at the reduced member price.
Corporate Members of LSC can continue to redeem their benefits on site at the Box Office on their day of visit with proof of employment provided upon check-in. Any additional tickets beyond those obtained via this benefit can be purchased online in advance.
