Horizon Foundation Family Fitness Route
Get up, get active with the Horizon Foundation Family Fitness Route at Liberty Science Center! Follow the route to increase your physical activity and learn about nutrition. If you complete all the stops on the route, you'll be entered in a sweepstakes to win a free LSC family membership for a full year!
When you visit LSC, pick up a “Get Up, Get Active!” passport from our Welcome Desk. Complete the SIX activities that make up the Horizon Foundation Family Fitness Route. You will receive a stamp on your fitness-route passport for each stop.
Here are the current activities on the route:
Walk the Steel in Skyscraper!
Balancing is a fun way to develop coordinated movement. Test your ability to balance on a beam while walking our 18-foot-high I-beam in the Skyscraper! exhibition.
Location: 1st Floor
Infinity Climber
Stretching before and after exercise may help prevent an injury or sore muscles. Practice your stretches before and after crawling and climbing through our 35-foot-high Infinity Climber.
Location: 3rd Floor
Touch Tunnel
Move it while using your five senses to crawl through our famous pitch black maze, the Touch Tunnel.
Location: 3rd Floor
Hang On in Wonder Why
Hang on! In our Wonder Why exhibition, you will need endurance to hang from this bar as long as possible.
Location: 3rd Floor
Rock Wall in Wonder Why
Touch your toes while bending over and repeat a few times. Flexibility will help your joints stay limber while you scale across approximately 14 feet of our fossil-studded rock climbing wall in Wonder Why.

Energy Quest
You'll need strength and stamina to pedal bikes that produce electricity in our Energy Quest exhibition.
Location: 4th Floor
Be sure to also check out the special Live Science presentation Heart and Soul, taking place in Governors Hall (check the Daily Schedule upon arrival for specific times). One of LSC’s expert STEM Educators will explain how nutrition becomes the energy that keeps your heart strong and healthy.
At the end of your visit, remember to drop your completed passport ticket into the “Get Up, Get Active” drop box by the exit doors. Every three months, we will pick one lucky entrant at random to receive a free LSC family membership* for two adults and up to four children, for a full year.
