PHOTOS: Students build professional costumes in LSC MakerLab

Grim Reaper. Wonder Woman Amazonian. Zombie Cheerleader! These are just a few of the amazing costumes that a group of students built in our MakerLab Halloween costume-making course this year.

Over the course of four weeks (meeting every Saturday morning), the students learned how to make their own unique costumes using tools such as 3D printers, vacuformers, and laser cutters. They even learned how to make custom patterns using clear wrap and duct tape.

Our MakerLab instructors were there to assist the students every step of the way, showing them how to spray paint, vacuform masks, and even teaching some basics in movie prop making.
