Mr. Mandler is a visionary in health care with more than 35 years of experience. In 2008, he and his partners formed CarePoint Health in Hudson County, NJ, combining Hoboken University Medical Center, Christ Hospital in Jersey City, and Bayonne Medical Center along with the integration of private practice and ambulatory services to create a $650 million enterprise. Mandler served as CEO of CarePoint Health from 2015 to 2017, overseeing all aspects of hospital operations. He is also the co-founder and co-owner of Clover Health, an innovative technology based, PPO Medicare Advantage insurance company based in Jersey City and San Francisco.
Prior to his role at CarePoint, Mandler launched several successful healthcare businesses, including the medical staffing and consulting firm Cardiovascular Solutions, and Healthcare Imaging Solutions, LLC in the Baltimore region. He had served as director of business development for the Mid-Atlantic and New England at MedCath Diagnostics in Charlotte, NC, where he supervised the development of sleep centers, cardiac cath labs, nuclear nuclear cardiology labs and other specialty centers across the region.
Mandler began his career as the Chief Nuclear Cardiology Technologist at Hahneman University Hospital in Philadelphia before transitioning to healthcare business development. He serves on the board of the New Jersey Hospital Association, the Hospital Alliance of New Jersey, the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce, and the CarePoint Health Foundation, among others. Mandler has co-authored several groundbreaking articles in nuclear cardiology research.
